Is HypeAuditor legit: who runs it and under which law

HypeAuditor is a real business with a named operator, published terms and a stated governing law. Its Terms of use name Stonecast Financial LLC, an Indiana limited liability company with a registered office in Indianapolis, and took effect on December 1, 2025. Indiana law governs them, and disputes go to American Arbitration Association arbitration in Indianapolis. HypeAuditor's pages give 2018 as its founding year.

The paid product is a subscription: according to HypeAuditor's blog, the Basic plan starts at $299 a month when billed annually, and the pricing page showed no prices when we read it. HypeAuditor review covers what the plans include.

How accurate HypeAuditor's audience data is

HypeAuditor's help center says some metrics are estimates rather than exact values and that no analytical model can guarantee 100% accuracy. Its Terms add that the data it displays may not be exhaustive. Age, for example, is an estimate from public profile images, and audience location is estimated from the active and engaged audience.

HypeAuditor says the error rate of its suspicious-account classifier does not exceed 3.7% per test sample of 10,000 analyzed accounts. That is its own statement about its own model. Its help center also advises against choosing a creator on the Audience Quality Score alone. Each checker uses its own measure, so the same creator can show different results in different tools.

Refunds, renewal and cancellation terms to read before paying

HypeAuditor's Terms say a subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel before 23:59 Eastern time on its last day, so cancel at least a day early. Funds charged for an extended subscription are not refunded, and there are no refunds for partial use, upgrades, downgrades or unused features. On a monthly subscription, the Terms keep you liable for the remaining unpaid period.

Ask HypeAuditor's sales team to put the free trial terms in writing before you sign, since its Terms leave no refund route afterward. G2, Capterra and Trustpilot carry customer reviews if you want other buyers' views on billing.

Pick Heepsy for a free plan and no annual lock-in, though its Terms call fees already paid non-refundable. Pick Modash for monthly plans that cancel immediately. HypeAuditor pricing and HypeAuditor alternatives cover the rest.

Claims to read as HypeAuditor's own

HypeAuditor's pages carry large numbers about itself. According to HypeAuditor, its database holds 227M+ accounts, and its pages also quote fraud-detection percentages that differ from page to page. Read them as the vendor's marketing, not as measurements.

Its comparison pages are written by HypeAuditor, so a claim about a rival there is HypeAuditor's reading. Rival figures come from each rival's own page.
