Estimated fake followers against fake follower rate

Heepsy's free checker returns estimated fake followers. It needs no sign-up, and it locks some metrics until you create a Heepsy account. Modash's free checker returns a fake follower rate, the combined share of suspicious accounts and bots in a sample of followers, also with no sign-up.

Modash calls its free tool a limited version of its vetting tool, with some figures locked behind a trial. Each checker uses its own measure, so the same creator can show a different result in each.

Monthly allowances that matter for vetting

Heepsy counts advanced profiles: 10 on Free, 100 on Starter and 500 on Plus. Modash counts opened profiles: 300 on Essentials and 800 on Performance. The two meters do not convert into each other.

Heepsy's pricing page lists an audience authenticity filter and an audience quality score filter on Plus, $149 a month billed annually. Modash says every plan has the same core capabilities and that price goes up with usage. Essentials includes 2 team members.

Modash's trial lasts 14 days with no credit card, capped at 20 profile views, 6 email unlocks and 10 tracked creators. Heepsy offers a free plan instead, and HypeAuditor arranges a free trial through sales.

Canceling Heepsy or Modash

Heepsy has no annual lock-in: you can cancel whenever you like and keep access until the end of your billing period. Its Terms call fees already paid non-refundable. Modash says you do not have to commit to a full year. Its monthly plans cancel immediately, and its annual plans stay active until the end of the prepaid term.

Where HypeAuditor fits as a third option

HypeAuditor suits annual teams. Its reports give an Audience Quality Score, a 1 to 100 score, and split an Instagram audience into Real People, Influencers, Mass Followers and Suspicious accounts. Its blog quotes Basic from $299 a month, billed annually, and the free trial comes through sales. See HypeAuditor vs Heepsy and HypeAuditor vs Modash for those pairs.

  • Heepsy for a free plan or the lowest paid start. Modash or Heepsy: Heepsy Starter is lower than Modash Essentials on both billing views, and Modash is the one with a trial.
